Wine Description:
This rare wine, made from Chenin Blanc grapes, represents only 2% of the total Chinon production. The grapes are planted mostly on chalky, limestone clay soils and a small part, on sandy alluvial soil from Loire river banks.
To preserve the quality of this delicate grape, the leaves are taken off by hand. The manual harvest is pressed by a pneumatic pressed machine.
Tasting Note:
It is fermented at low temperatures with only native yeasts. It is a white wine of true finesse, at once rich and very fresh with notes of citrus, honey and white fruits.
