Wine Description:

This Côte-Rôtie is cultivated on two vertiginous hillsides, where the narrow Roman terraces have been “roasting” grapes since ancient times. It's thanks to the unique microclimate of Ampuis - defined by a happy combination of the southern sun and fresh humidity from Burgundy - that it's possible to produce such exceptional wines here. The Merlin Côte-Rôtie is a sublimely sensual wine, unfolding its delicate aromas in stages for a long, spectacular finish

Tasting Note:

Beautiful complexity on the nose with spicy notes, great finesse on the palate, and floral and fruity aromas (blackcurrant), ending with a long, silky finish.
