Wine Description:

Domaine du Colombier's Hermitage is a great red wine made from 100% Syrah grapes, sourced from three emblematic parcels at the foot of the slopes: 'Baumes', 'Croix du Torras', and 'Diogniere', each contributing its own complexity and richness to the wine. In the cellar, this cuvée is aged for 18 months in 600-liter barrels (demi-muids), one-third of which are new and two-thirds of which have previously held wine.

Tasting Note:

Visually, it displays a deep and intense purple color. On the nose, it reveals powerful aromas of ripe black fruit, accompanied by subtle notes of spice and tobacco. On the palate, the Hermitage is structured and elegant, with supple tannins and well-balanced acidity. Flavors of black berries blend harmoniously with hints of dark chocolate, pepper, and fennel, offering a long and persistent finish.
