Wine Description:

Fire Estate Vidal Gold Icewine from Inniskillin. Few wines are as hard to make. Fewer still deliver the delicately balanced acidity and tensely rich sweetness achieved by harvesting in the extreme cold of the Canadian winter. Our best grapes are left to freeze on the vine til the mercury hits precisely -10°C. Calculated pressing releases the highly concentrated juice, imparting unique characteristics that define this remarkably delicious Icewine of the North.

Tasting Note :

This Icewine shows intense layers leading into a generous amount of ripe fruit, aromatics of peach, mango, and orange peel. Flavours of apricot and citrus with hints of clove and a touch of spice make this a classic Niagara Peninsula Icewine.
