Wine Description:
Nestled on a south-facing slope of Bald Peak, the Willamette Valley's highest point, this site overlooks Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, and Mt. St. Helens. The Jory / Laurelwood soil type, combined with the high elevation, contribute to an amazing pinot noir that is alluring and savory, balanced with spice on the nose.
Tasting Note:
Inviting aromas of blood orange zest, crushed hibiscus flowers, dried tea leaves, and caraway seeds welcome me to the glass. The palate is robustly structured and solid, yet maintains an elegant quality that carries the wine into its very long finish. I look forward to tasting this wine many, many times over its long lifetime.
